Programme Teaching Objectives (Fedek Definition): These are general statements that define the career goals and professional expectations that programme graduates are expected to achieve in the near future.

In this context, the Programme Teaching Objectives of our department are determined as follows:

PÖA-1:To have knowledge about the historical development and current situation of Turkish Language and Literature; to gain knowledge about classical and modern Turkish Language / Literature, Turkish Folk Literature and Contemporary Turkish Literature.

PÖA-2:To understand and analyse the works of Turkish Language and Literature according to scientific criteria.

PÖA-3:To be able to use Turkish effectively and correctly; to gain the ability to apply language and literature knowledge.

POA-4:To have an interdisciplinary perspective to solve language and literature problems.

POA-5:To be aware of the current problems in the fields of language and literature.

POA-6:To have the ability to comprehend basic language and literature knowledge and to have the ability to use this knowledge for educational and training purposes.

PÖA-7:To have the ability to benefit from other social and human sciences such as literature, art history, archaeology, law, sociology and philosophy.
