The Department of Turkish Language and Literature has accepted it as a duty to educate individuals who have skills in the field of social culture, art, language and literature, who adopt the principles of scientific and ethical principles and conduct research in these fields, who have the necessary equipment related to their field and profession, who are prone to collective or individual work, who engage in cultural and artistic activities and organise them, who have adopted Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, and who aim to make cultural and scientific contributions to the area they live in.
To be a department that analyses each element of culture separately, builds a bridge between the past and the future by adhering to scientific principles and methods, keeps up with the principles of technology and contemporary life and makes it a basic principle to contribute significantly to the scientific and academic studies in Turkey.
